Caroline Shotton

the persistence of moomory

When I was living in Kingston Upon Thames, I saw in an art shop a funny painting: the Gioconda with a cow shape. I though it was very funny, maybe because I like cows. Then I found out the artist was quite famous and that she was cowholic!

She took some famous paitings and she turned them into a cowish version, but she also did other works not binded to any famous name. So for example we can find The persistence of moomory (from Dalí), or The moo (from Munch), or The Smooch (from Klimt), and as I said before a cowish version of The Gioconda called Moona Lisa! I so wold like to have one!

But if you want to know more about Shotton´s history, here is a little Biography. And to see some of the cowholic paitings, click here.

Tenero!). Ho riportato alcuni titoli nella sezione inglese!
